The puzzle…
To turn what could have been a straightforward channel announcement into something that felt like a significant new chapter for the show. The challenge was that we were introducing this new show to an audience that already knew the main channel, so we wanted the trailer to feel connected to what they already liked while also establishing that this was something new.
The solution!
Connecting directly with the viewer through a producer’s direct-to-camera message. Highlighting the show's humour, emotion and the journey the audience has been on with us. Shot in the working studio alongside the team preparing for production, and a clapperboard signalling the start of a new chapter as My Extraordinary Family moves to its own YouTube channel.
